Poshan Abhiyaan is a flagship program of the Government of India where POSHAN full form is the Prime Minister’s Overarching Scheme for Holistic Nutrition. This flagship program is specifically for children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers. The Poshan Abhiyaan was launched on 8th March 2018 on the occasion of International Women’s Day by the prime minister. Here, the Prime Minister aims to address malnutrition as a national priority and curb it as soon as possible in a mission mode
